Kinky Book Club is a monthly virtual gathering for the kink-curious, the newly exploring, and anyone who learns best by reading first and talking it through in good company. Each month we read a different book — fiction, memoir, education, or erotica — that opens a door into a different corner of kink culture. Then we come together to discuss it: honestly, openly, and without judgment.
Your hosts bring something rare to this space. Rose Sylvester (they/she) is a non-binary therapist with a kink-affirming, sex-positive practice. Michael Lee DeVries (he/him) is a trans author with deep roots in trans advocacy and storytelling. Together they’ve created a container that’s equal parts book club, community education, and low-stakes exploration — because the best way to learn about something new is often just to read about it with people who get it.
No experience necessary. No pressure to share. Just show up, read at your pace, and see what resonates.
