from Grease to Goddess

On my journey to mental health therapistI stumbled upon the art of bike mechanics, both of which have become very dear to me. Through the years of experiencing different aspects of the industry, my favourite was when I started my own mechanic school in my apartment and called it Rose’s Bicycle Academy catering to femmes and non-binary folks. I didn’t turn anyone away though and I believe an online date was spent wrenching in my yard. Poor guy didn’t realize what was involved and did not dress the part. I didn’t see him again LOL.

So here we are and I’m ready to bring instructing back into my life. What does this look like? Learn how to change a flat, how to assess a bicycle if you’re purchasing one second hand, how to adjust your brakes or anything more complex for those who have been living that #mechaniclife for a bit longer.
